Sometimes, children and young people don’t always find it easy to talk out loud about incidents. This might be due to peer pressure, confidence, nerves or the events that could happen afterwards.
As a result of this, we have created ‘HELP’ (Hedlands E-Safety Online Protection) which enables young people within our school or the local community to report incidents that have occurred in Headlands or affect our school. Reports can be made anonymously, without fear or the person making the report can alternatively leave their details if they wish.
It is our objective to provide inclusion, e-safety and relevant information in order to support students and give them the opportunity to report their concerns.
HELP also aims to provide you with information, advice and provide awareness on a range of subjects such as: Drugs, Internet safety, Bullying, Anti-social behaviour and other sensitive issues.
HELP is maintained by trusted members of staff within the school who have the resources and training to be able to provide support, advice and information if needed.
